We have all heard it before, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. There is a good reason for this and not just something our parents used to nag us about. For starters we are "breaking the fast" which when you really think about it- when we wake up in the mornings we haven't eaten for 10-12 hours. Our bodies really need that fuel to get us energized and ready for the day.

Protein is one of the most important nutrients for weight lose. By making sure your breakfast has a good source of protein you will feel satisfied longer (which means less likely to sneak a donut in the break room) and allow you to make it to lunch time. This will help set you up to make better decisions over the day which is important if you have weight loss goals or are trying to build muscle!

This collection of breakfast recipes have a great balance of protein and fiber. There are so many different options that you can choose from to help get your day started right!
