Peach season is my favorite! It lasts such a short period of time so I try to make as many peach desserts and recipes as I can. My favorite desserts are this delicious Peach Cobbler and Peach Galette but I also make an amazing Peach Baked Oatmeal for breakfast.

Serving Recommendations
These Honey-Roasted Peaches are absolutely delicious as they are, serving warm right out of the oven, but you can make this dessert dish even more special by trying out a few serving ideas.
- As a simple dessert, top with classic vanilla ice cream.
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream and crushed pecans.
- As a sweet breakfast, serve it over yogurt, oatmeal or granola.
- Experience a Southern-style treat by pairing it with biscuits or pound cake.

Storage
Store the leftover honey roasted peaches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat it in the microwave until warm, or in a 350°F oven. The peaches will become a bit softer over time, but their flavors will remain amazing.

Substitutions and Additions
Peaches - If peaches are not available, try apricots, nectarines, or plums.
Honey - You can substitute honey with agave or maple syrup.
Brown sugar - Substitute brown sugar for coconut sugar for a slightly different flavor profile.
Nutmeg or Vanilla - For an extra depth of flavor, you may add a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of vanilla extract.
Nuts - Add a layer of crunch with chopped nuts before baking, so they will be toasted beautifully.
Expert Tips
- Choose the best, juiciest in-season peaches. Give the peaches a gently squeeze. They should give just slightly when pressed, be careful to not squeeze to hard because peaches can bruise easily.
- Check the peaches periodically while they are baking in the oven. The roasting time may vary depending on how large and how ripe the peach is. The key is to bake until tender enough to eat with a spoon, not mushy.
