Honey Roasted Peaches (Oven Baked Peaches)

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Optional Toppings

  • pecans
  • granola
  • ice cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly spray a 9 x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Wash and dry the peaches. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut around the center of the peach from one end to the other. Gently twist the peach to open into halves. use a spoon to wiggle the peach pit away from the center.
  • Place the peaches cut side up in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the honey, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Spoon mixture into the center of the peaches and spread the mixture all over the tops of the peaches with a pastry brush or the back of a spoon.
  • Place the peaches in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the peaches are soft and juicy.
  • Serve peaches warm with desired toppings.
