what ingredients are in white chocolate bark recipes?
There are so many different variations of this recipe. You can use different nuts or dried fruit that you prefer.
Here are the ingredients needed for my white chocolate cranberry bark recipe:
- white chocolate melting wafers
- macadamia nuts
- dried cranberries
- sea salt (optional)
How to make white chocolate bark?
My recipe for white chocolate bark is so easy anyone can make this! Plus it only takes 5 minutes to prepare, making it great for a last minute dessert or gift during the holidays.
First line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Measure a half cup each of dried cranberries and macadamia nuts and set aside in a bowl.
Next pour white chocolate wafers into a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high power for 30 second intervals, stirring in between. This step is extremely important so that the white chocolate heats evenly and doesn’t burn.
When chocolate is melted pour onto cranberries and nuts, reserving a spoonful. Stir well to coat everything in white chocolate. Pour onto parchment lined baking sheet. Smooth mixture into thin layer and sprinkle with remaining spoonful of reserved nuts and cranberries. Don’t worry about making this a pretty shape or straight edges because you will be breaking it into uneven pieces. It won’t fill up the entire baking sheet either.
Now pop in the refrigerator and wait about 30 minutes before breaking or cutting. It should easily pull away from parchment paper. Chop on cutting board or break apart with hands.
How long does white chocolate bark keep?
The reason why I love making white chocolate cranberry bark candy is because it will keep in your refrigerator for a couple of weeks!
I like to make a double batch a couple of weeks before the holidays so I have a quick gift on hand. You never know when a last minute party might come up or that unexpected guest pops over. This white chocolate bark is a perfect treat.
