After much trial and error I have found this is the easiest way to froth milk.
You can use this wand to froth either steamed or cold almond milk. Simply add the milk to a tall glass or pitcher. Use the wand to agitate the milk and watch as tiny bubbles begin to form on the surface of the milk. Frothing almond milk only takes 30 - 60 seconds with the hand frother. In just seconds you have the perfect froth to use in your favorite coffee beverage!
How to Froth Almond Milk Without Frother
There are other methods to froth almond milk at home. While I still feel the steaming wand or frothing wand produce the best results there are a few other options that you may already own.
You can use an immersion blender which is a hand held blender that you can immerse inside a cup of almond milk to froth.
A simple glass jar can work to create the tiny bubbles. Of course this will require a little more effort as you shake the jar vigorously.
A hand whisk can also create foam by whisking air into the milk.
What Is The Best Type Of Almond Milk To Froth?
Fresh almond milk definitely plays a role in how well the almond milk will froth. Also when looking at almond milk brands it is important to choose a higher quality brand that has a higher fat content. Many brands will have more additives and water added which make them more difficult to froth.
Can You Steam Almond Milk?
Yes! Almond milk can be heated or steamed. If you have a steamer, this will be a great way to make your frothy almond milk. You can also warm almond milk in a small saucepan. Heat over medium low heat just until the milk is hot but not boiling.
Can You Microwave Almond Milk?
A quicker method for heating almond milk is in the microwave. Warm milk in a microwave safe glass for 30 to 60 seconds.
