Why You'll Love This Pizza Chip Recipe!

If you're craving pizza and don't want all the carbs, these irresistible pizza chips deliver the best pizza flavors without the fuss of making dough! These are crunchy around the edges, gooey in the center, and perfect for dipping, something that would complete the game day spread or even a snack for the kids after school.

Not yet convinced? Here are more reasons why you'll love this pizza chips recipe:

    • They are ready in just 15 minutes from start to finish.
    • No dough or complicated steps!
    • Easy to customize with different seasonings or toppings.
    • It is naturally low-carb and gluten-free.
    • Excellent for party finger food or even just quick snacking.

    Equipment Needed

    • Oven
    • Baking sheet
    • Parchment paper
    • Measuring spoon (for seasonings)
    • Spatula or offset turner

    Key Ingredients

Mozzarella cheese - The base of our pizza chips. Shredded whole milk cheese crisps beautifully when baked. I do not recommend low fat varieties.

Pepperoni - Regular or turkey pepperoni both work well.

Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or red pepper flakes - add flavor and help achieve that pizza flavor we are craving.

Pizza sauce - It's optional, but it is great for dipping. If you want to stick with a keto diet look for a low sugar variety.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Add small, round mounds of mozzarella cheese onto the parchment paper. Space them slightly apart.

Place one slice of pepperoni on top of each cheese mound to make the classic pepperoni pizza chips.

Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden with crisp edges.

Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with seasoning. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.

    Serving Recommendations

These homemade pizza chips are best served warm and fresh from the oven. Excellent on their own or dip them in marinara or pizza sauce. If you are on a keto diet look for a low sugar pizza sauce variety.

    Substitutions and Additions

Add any of your favorite pizza toppings, just keep in mind if you are wanting to keep this low-carb or keto friendly you will need to check the nutritional information. Here are some great ideas for pizza toppings:

    • bacon
    • prosciutto
    • olives
    • mushrooms
    • jalapenos
    • garlic
    • basil
    • onions
