    Equipment Needed

    • Large mixing bowl
    • Hand or stand mixer
    • Paring knife
    • Cutting board
    • Piping bag or zip-top bag.
    • Piping tip
    • Serving platter

    Key Ingredients

Cream cheese - Use room temperature to achieve a smooth filling.

Heavy cream - It adds lightness and helps achieve a pipeable texture.

Sour cream - Balances the sweetness with a slight tang.

Fresh lemon juice - It brightens the flavor.

Vanilla extract - It enhances the overall sweetness.

Powdered sugar - Dissolves easily for a silky filling.

Strawberries - The main event. Choose large and firm berries for the best presentation.

Graham crackers or blonde Oreo cookies - Adds a subtle crunch on top.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, add the room temperature cream cheese, heavy cream, sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Slowly add the powdered sugar while mixing on low speed, then increase to medium and beat until fluffy and fully combined.

Wash the strawberries thoroughly. Cut them in half lengthwise through the stem end. Slice a thin piece off the back of each half so they sit flat.

Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe the filling generously onto each strawberry half.

Arrange the deviled strawberries on a serving platter and sprinkle with crushed cookies or graham crackers. Serve immediately to experience the best texture and flavor.

    Make Ahead

You can prepare the cream cheese mixture a day in advance and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Slice the strawberries and assemble them only if you are ready to serve, to keep their freshness and avoid them from getting soggy.

    Storage

Once assembled, deviled strawberries are best enjoyed the same day. If there are any leftovers, store them in an airtight container and place them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Keep in mind that strawberries may release some juice over time.
