Why You'll Love This Baked Brie With Jam Recipe!

One of the things I love about baked brie is that it embodies the perfect balance of effortless elegance. It's the kind of appetizer that feels special and luxurious enough for holidays and gatherings, but simple enough to make on a casual weeknight. It's always a crowd-pleaser, whether you pair it with wine and serve it at a party or just want an appetizer to hold the guests over until your holiday dinner is ready. I think you'll feel the same way once you try it, and here are more reasons for you to do so:

    • Effortless- It's one of the best baked brie with jam recipes if you want to serve something elegant and yet easy to make.
    • Elegant- Creamy cheese, crunchy nuts, fruity jam, and honey make a beautiful combo that feels like it's a gourmet treat.
    • Customizable- You can easily customize it with your favorite jam and nuts, making it perfect for the season.
    • Quick- An easy baked brie with jam recipe that only needs five minutes to prepare, and the oven will take care of the rest.

    Equipment Needed

    • Rimmed baking sheet
    • Parchment paper
    • Knife
    • Small mixing bowl
    • Spatula or spoon

    Key Ingredients

Brie wheel - The main event. It is creamy yet mild, perfect for baking.

Jam - Fig jam is my favorite! But you can use any fruit jam you like; raspberry, apricot, or blackberry will do, too.

Nuts - Adds a beautiful crunch. Pick your preference, such as pistachios, walnuts, or pecans.

Dried cranberries - Add a tart and beautiful fruity pop of flavor.

Fresh rosemary - Adds a little savory note that makes it extra special.

Honey - A drizzle on top makes everything beautiful, and it ties everything together perfectly.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

Start by preheating the oven to 350°F.

Prepare the rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the wheel of brie on the sheet. Using the knife, score the top rind in a crisscross pattern.

Mix the jam, nuts, and dried cranberries in a small mixing bowl.

Spread the mixture over the brie and sprinkle with fresh rosemary and a pinch of sea salt.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the brie is soft and gooey.

Drizzle with honey and serve with your favorite dippers.

    Serving Recommendations

I love serving this right out of the oven while the brie is still perfectly melty. Some of my favorite pairings are:

    • Fresh crisp apple slices or pear wedges.
    • A sliced baguette or crostini
    • Assorted crackers (you can add seeded crackers for extra crunch.
    • A glass of wine (white or red), roseé, or champagne to make it feel extra special.

    Make Ahead

One of the best things about this recipe is how make-ahead friendly it is. You can assemble the brie, nuts, and jams up to a day ahead. Make sure to cover them and refrigerate until you are ready to bake. When guests arrive, pop it in the oven, then you'll have a warm crowd-pleasing appetizer in just a few minutes.

    Storage

If you happen to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat it in the oven at 300°F until warmed through and just enough to get it melty again.
