    Step-By-Step Instructions

Using a large bowl, whisk together the strawberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water until completely dissolved, then stir in ¼ cup of cold water. Let it chill and set in the fridge for about 30 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.

Wash the strawberries thoroughly, then hull and dice them until you have 4 cups of diced strawberries. I suggest you cut it into smaller pieces; it will blend perfectly into the fluff.

jello being dissolve on a mixing bowl and on the other side a wooden chopping board and knife and sliced fresh strawberries

Beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy in a separate bowl.

Combine the Jello and the cream cheese by gently beating the slightly thickened Jello or stirring it into the cream cheese. Don't mind the lumpiness; it's perfectly fine!

Using your spatula, gently fold the Cool Whip into the mixture until they are fully combined.

Stir in the diced strawberries and marshmallows until everything is well coated in the creamy mixture.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or, better yet, overnight to achieve the best flavor and texture.

    Make Ahead

This refreshing strawberry fluff salad is an excellent make-ahead dish! It is even better when chilled overnight because chilling allows it to develop its best flavor and texture.

    • In another bowl beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy.
    • After the Jello has chilled for 30 minutes, add the cream cheese to the bowl and very carefully on low speed beat the cream cheese into the Jello (you will need a large and deep bowl to keep this from being messy) or just use a soon to mix into the Jello. Expect it to be a bit lumpy.
