- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ small jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 1 tablespoon shallot, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tablespoon white balsamic
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Get Recipe Ingredients
Wash the fruit and vegetables thoroughly. Hull the strawberries and cut into small pieces. Add the strawberries to a bowl and sprinkle with the sugar.
Chop the jalapeno, shallot and herbs and add to the berries.
Add the white balsamic, lime zest, lime juice and stir well.
Refrigerate the strawberry salsa or serve immediately.
