Ritz Cracker Sandwiches

It’s game day season! And whenever I need something to add to my charcuterie grazing board or to make an appetizer that feels nostalgic yet party-worthy, these Ritz cracker sandwiches are my go-to. These can be made in just a few minutes with simple pantry ingredients and always disappear fast.

Ingredients

  • 56 Ritz crackers
  • 5 ounces deli ham
  • 7 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion flakes
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Line a rimmed baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Line the Ritz crackers in rows on the baking sheet.
  • Top the crackers with a piece of ham followed by a piece of cheese. Add the remaining Ritz crackers to form the top of the sandwiches.
  • Add the soy sauce, honey, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion flakes, and mustard powder to the melted butter. Whisk well to combine.
  • Brush the tops of the crackers with the butter mixture.
  • Place the tray in the oven and bake for 9-10 minutes or until the cheese is melty and the tops are slightly browned.
