  • 1 5.1 ounce box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups heavy cream, divided
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ store bought angel food cake, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pound strawberries, washed and sliced

Instructions

  • Add 2 cups of heavy cream plus the whole milk to a large mixing bowl with the instant pudding mix. Mix well with an handheld mixer for several minutes until smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl add the heavy cream and beat with a handheld mixer. Start at low speed and as the cream begins to thicken increase the speed and add in the vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until soft peaks form.
  • Layer the trifles by adding a spoonful of pudding to the bottom of a dessert cup, followed by small pieces of the angel food cake, slices of strawberries and blueberries. Repeat the layer of pudding and cake then top with the whipped cream and more berries.
