Easy Peach Cobbler With Cake Mix Recipe

- 4-5 large peaches, sliced (peeling is optional)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon cardamon or nutmeg
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 15.25 ounce box of yellow cake mix
- ¾ cup butter, melted (1 and ½ sticks or 12 tablespoons)
- 2 teaspoons turbinado sugar or brown sugar

Preheat the oven to 350° F. Coat a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
Add sliced peaches to a casserole dish.
Sprinkle the peaches with cornstarch, cinnamon and cardamon. Stir to cover all of the peaches.
Cover the peaches with cake mix.
Pour the melted butter all over the top, using a knife to spread the butter to get as much covered as possible.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. During the last 5 minutes sprinkle the top with turbinado sugar. This is optional but gives a crispy caramelized texture to the crust.
The cobbler is done when the peaches are soft and created a thick syrup. The top will be golden brown.
Serve warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
