Equipment

  • mason jars

Ingredients

  • 1 and ½ cups almond milk, or milk of choice
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablspoons chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup frozen fruit, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon granola
  • 2 tablspoons slivered almonds

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl add milk, oats, honey, chia seeds and cinnamon. Stir well to mix all ingredients together. The oats and chia seeds will slowly begin to absorb the milk.
  • Stir in the frozen fruit.
  • Portion the oatmeal mixture into small mason jars or other individual serving size containers.
  • Top with berries and seal container. Place jars in refrigerator overnight or at least for 4 hours so the oats can absorb the milk and become soft.
  • Serve cold with a sprinkle of granola and slivered almonds on top.
