- 2 (21 ounce) cans cherry pie filling
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 24 pieces

Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly spray a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
Add both cans of cherry pie filling to the casserole dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and vanilla extract. Stir to combine and smooth into an even layer.
Cover the cherries with the cake mix.
Evenly space the slices of butter over the top of the cake mix.
Bake in preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until the cobbler is golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
