Ingredients

  • 1 16 ounce jar dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 10 ounce bag bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 11 ounce bag white chips
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup caramel bits

Instructions

  • Add peanuts, both types of chocolate chips to the crockpot. Cover the top of the crockpot with a clean kitchen towel BEFORE putting the lid on. Crockpots create condensation and water can cease chocolate so this will insure your candy is perfect.
  • Set the crockpot to low heat and time for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, check the chocolate and if it is melted stir and add the peanut butter and caramel to the mixture. If it needs more time place the towel and lid back on the crockpot and continue to check every 15 minutes unit the chocolate is melted.
  • Use a cookie scoop or a tablespoon to measure out scoops of the crockpot candy onto parchment paper. Sprinkle immediately with sprinkles or sea salt if using.
  • The chocolate will take an hour or two to harden at room temperature. You can speed things up by placing the cookie sheets in the refrigerator. If you live in a humid area, you may want to store the candy in a airtight container in the refrigerator but it will stay fresh at room temperature for up to two weeks.
