Ingredients

Marinade

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Steak Kabobs

  • 1 1.5- 2 pound sirloin steak
  • 3 large bell peppers, any color
  • 1 large red onion
  • garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges, optional

Instructions

  • Whisk together the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, honey, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade in a separate small bowl BEFORE adding the steak.
  • Add the steak to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, longer is better. You can marinade up to 8 hours.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to 450℉ and clean and grease grill grates well. Grill kabobs for 8 to 10 minutes, turning every 2 minutes and rotating so the kabobs get grill marks on all sides. Brush the kabobs with the reserved marinade after turning, this will help keep them extra juicy.
  • Remove from the grill, garnish if desired, and serve warm.
  • If you have time, let the steak marinate for several hours, it makes a difference in flavor! Do not skip soaking wooden skewers.
