Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake

Ingredients
- 2 21 ounce cans cherry pie filling
- 1 13.25 ounces chocolate cake mix
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 24 slices
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and spray a 9x13 inch dish with cooking spray.
- Add both cans of cherry pie filling to the dish and use a spatula to spread out evenly.
- Sprinkle the chocolate cake mix over the top of the pie filling.
- Place the slices of butter over the top of the cake.
- Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and use a knife to even out any of the cake mix that is not coated in the melted butter. Sprinkle with a cup of chocolate chips and return to the oven.
- Bake for an additional 30 minutes. Serve cake warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
