How to Freeze Cantaloupe   

Freeze fresh summer cantaloupe now to have for smoothies and sorbet this winter.


Start by removing the rind with a sharp knife. 


Cut the cantaloupe into small chunks.  This makes it easier to blend.


Freeze on a cookie sheet for a few hours. 


Then add to a large freezer bag. This way you can remove a few cubes at a time.  


Frozen cantaloup is perfect for blended drinks, smoothies and sorbet.
