How to Freeze Cantaloupe   

Cantaloupe is easy to freeze and you can make smoothies all winter with these tips.

 

Start by removing the rind with a sharp knife. 

 

Cut the cantaloupe into small chunks.  This makes it easier to blend.

 

Freeze on a cookie sheet for a few hours. 

 

Then add to a large freezer bag. This way you can remove a few cubes at a time.  

 

Frozen cantaloup is perfect for blended drinks, smoothies and sorbet.
