Cold Brew with Cinnamon Almond Milk Foam

Cold brew is the best way to get your caffeine fix in the summer time.  On hot summer days I love sipping my Cold Brew with Cinnamon Almond Milk.  It gives that little boost to get me going for the work day. Plus this cold brew recipe tastes great without adding sugar and cream!

Equipment

  • frothing attachment or hand mixer

Ingredients

Cold Brew

  • 1 cup ground coffee
  • 4 cups filtered water

Cinnamon Almond Milk Foam

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • stevia to sweeten* optional

Instructions

Cold Brew

  • In a large mason jar add coffee grounds and cold water.
  • Allow coffee mixture to brew for 12-16 hours. You can simply leave your cold brew on kitchen counter.
  • After the desired brew time, strain the cold brew into a large bowl with a strainer and coffee filter or cheese cloth.
  • Once cold brew is strained it is ready to drink, or can be stored in refrigerator for one week.

Cinnamon Almond Milk Foam

  • Pour almond milk in the bottom of a large bowl. Add cinnamon and use a frothier attachment to make foam. Beat milk for a couple minutes for foam to form.
  • Divide cold brew into glasses, add ice cubes and pour almond milk over top with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!

Notes

*Cold brew will keep for a week in the fridge.  You can make one drink at a time by only frothing a single amount of almond milk if necessary.
