Roasted Sesame Dressing and Marinade

Roasted Sesame Dressing and Marinade is a creamy and flavorful dressing that can be used on so many different things.  It’s perfect for a side salad to accompany an Asian meal or to marinate chicken.  My family even uses it as a dip with veggies!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup whole fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter, or tahini
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoons white sesame seeds, roasted
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Measure sesame seeds onto baking dish and place into heated oven.
  • Roast for 6-8 minutes stirring every few minutes. Watch closely to not burn. They should go from white to a brown color.
  • While sesame seeds are roasting measure other ingredients into blender cup.
  • Mix ingredients with blender for several seconds to thoroughly blend together.
  • When sesame seeds are finished roasting and have cooled add sesame seeds to blender with other ingredients. Pulse a few times to slightly break up seeds. A few whole ones will give
  • Dressing is ready for use now or can be refrigerated for a few days. It will be thicker once refrigerated. Store in air tight container.
