Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon with Homemade Glaze

- 4 4-6 ounce salmon fillets, skin removed
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, optional garnish
- 2 green onions, chopped optional garnish
Mix together the marinade ingredients in a small sauce pan and cook for 2 minutes until sauce bubbles and thickens. Remove from heat.
Spray the bottom of air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
Place salmon fillets inside basket.
Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees and time for 10 minutes.
After the salmon has cooked for 7 minutes remove basket and check internal temperature with meat thermometer. Depending on the thickness of fillet continue cooking until the salmon reaches 145 degrees.
When salmon is cooked brush with teriyaki glaze. Allow salmon to rest for a few minutes before serving.
