A warm bowl of oatmeal is comforting, filling and a healthy way to start your morning.  My 3 Minute Microwave Oatmeal is the solution to those busy mornings when you are short on time and need a quick breakfast.

Ingredients

Oatmeal Base Recipe

  • ½ cup old-fashion oats
  • ½ cup water

Apple Raisin Oatmeal

Instructions

  • Place oatmeal in large microwave safe bowl.
  • Pour water over top of oatmeal.
  • If you are making your own oatmeal concoction simply microwave for 3 minutes at power lever 5. This will insure that it will not boil over!
  • Top with desired toppings! Enjoy
  • If you want to try my apple raisin oats add the chopped apple to oats and water to cook in microwave.
  • Microwave the same 3 minutes at power level 5.
  • Remove from microwave add remaining ingredients.
