- 1 5.3 ounce cinnamon Greek yogurt (I used Chobani)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 4 tablespoons pure maple syrup, divided
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon, divided
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large bowl mix together the yogurt and milk. Add the oats, chia seeds, salt, vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons of the maple syrup, and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon to the milk mixture. Stir well to combine.
Portion the oat mixture into 4 small containers. Mason jars work well for overnight oats.
In a separate small bowl mix together the remaining maple syrup and cinnamon. You will have to mix well to get the cinnamon to dissolve in the syrup.
Drizzle the cinnamon mixture over the top of the oats.
Secure the lid on each container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Oats will last in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
