Ingredients

  • 1 5.3 ounce cinnamon Greek yogurt (I used Chobani)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 4 tablespoons pure maple syrup, divided
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, divided
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large bowl mix together the yogurt and milk. Add the oats, chia seeds, salt, vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons of the maple syrup, and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon to the milk mixture. Stir well to combine.
  • Portion the oat mixture into 4 small containers. Mason jars work well for overnight oats.
  • In a separate small bowl mix together the remaining maple syrup and cinnamon. You will have to mix well to get the cinnamon to dissolve in the syrup.
  • Drizzle the cinnamon mixture over the top of the oats.
  • Secure the lid on each container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Oats will last in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
