Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts (Oven Roasted)

Crispy honey sriracha brussels sprouts are a perfect side dish to accompany a quick weeknight meal or even Thanksgiving dinner. The sweetness of the honey pairs perfectly with the hot sauce, creating a sweet and spicy glaze that is irresistible. Roast the brussels sprouts in the oven for 25 minutes for crispy perfection.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 tablepoons olive oil, divided
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons shallot, sliced very thin

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Rinse the brussels sprouts in cool water and cut of the stem end. Cut the sprouts in half lengthwise. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Put the brussels sprouts in a large bowl. Toss with a tablespoon of olive oil and salt.
  • Spread the sprouts onto the prepared baking pan. Place in the preheated oven and roast for 15 minutes.
  • While roasting prepare the sriracha sauce, by mixing together the hot sauce, honey and remaining olive oil. Cut the shallot into thin slices and mince the garlic.
  • After the first 15 minutes of roasting, remove the brussels sprouts from the oven. Stir them on the baking tray. Pour the sriracha honey sauce over them and sprinkle with garlic and shallots. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes.
  • After the 10 minutes, remove from oven and serve immediately for the best crispy brussels sprouts.
