Sauteed Butternut Squash 

Make an easy side dish for your Thanksgiving dinner!


–squash –butter –maple syrup –cinnamon – nutmeg –salt -parsley

Use a vegetable peeler to peel your squash.  

Cut the squash in half and scoop out the seeds. 

Melt the butter in a sauté pan.

Brown the butter to give a richer flavor. It takes only a minute.   

Add the squash to the brown butter.  Use a spoon to stir frequently.  


Add the maple syrup and spices. 

Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

This is easy enough for a weeknight meal. 

And perfect for a Thanksgiving side dish!
