Cold Beer Cheese Appetizer  

A spicy cold cheese spread made with beer is a Kentucky favorite!

 

Ingredients -beer -cheddar cheese -Velveeta -red pepper flakes -cayenne pepper -garlic powder

 

For this recipe you will need a large capacity food processor.  

 

Add half of the cheese along with the spices and begin to blend.  

 

Slowly drizzle half of the beer in the top of the food processor while it is running. 

 

Add the remaining cheese and repeat the process.

 

Blend until the cheese mixture is smooth and creamy.

 

Refrigerate before serving.  This will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks. 

 

Serve with carrots, cucumbers and celery sticks and crackers.  

 

 

This is a local favorite in Kentucky.  You will see this appetizer at most resturants and bars.
