Asparagus Bundles with Puff Pastry  

Make these easy wrapped asparagus with frozen puff pastry.  

 

Ingredients: – asparagus – puff pastry  – olive oil – egg – gruyere cheese – goat cheese – thyme  – salt –pepper

 

Snap the ends of the asparagus off     

 

Drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. 

 

Mix together the cheese and thyme.  

Roll the dough out to about double its original size.  

Cut each rectangle into 6 squares. 

 

Place the asparagus on the puff pastry squares with the cheese.      

Wrap the asparagus in the pastry dough. 

Brush with egg wash and crimp the ends together. 

Bake for 15 minutes until the asparagus is tender and puff pastry is golden brown.
