Fresh Green Bean Recipe   

Fresh green beans only take a few minutes to blanch.  These crisp and tender beans are perfect for salad. 

 

Ingredients: – lemon – red wine vinegar -olive oil -oregano – green beans –salt -pepper – cherry tomatoes – kalamata olives –feta cheese

 

Start by blanching the green beans in a bot of boiling water. 

 

Blanching will cook the bean but it will still remain crisp.  

 

Plunge the green beans in an ice bath to quickly stop the cooking process.

 

Add the veggies, olives and feta cheese to a large serving bowl.

 

Make the lemon dressing by squeezing the lemon juice into a jar. 

 

Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. 

 

Drizzle over the green beans.  Toss well to coat everything. 

 

This green bean salad is fresh and crispy with great flavor!
