Cinnamon Biscuits

Top these delicious biscuits with jam or honey!

 Ingredients:

–flour –baking powder –baking soda –salt –unsalted butter –buttermilk –sugar –cinnamon

Cut the butter in using a pastry blender.  Make sure your butter is cold when you do this step.  

Once the butter is worked into the flour it will be a grainy texture. 

Add the buttermilk and stir to combine the flour.   

Pour the flour mixture onto a clean counter top.  It will be a little sticky.     

Kneed the dough by folding over onto its self a few times until it sticks together better.    

Add layers of cinnamon and cut with a biscuit cutter.     

Line the biscuits on a parchment lined baking tray.     

Bake in a preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
